Deregistration

There are many reasons and times to deregister your vehicle. For example, you need to deregister your vehicle if it is taken out of service and no longer used. Owners also have to arrange for deregistration if they want to sell or scrap their vehicle, or don’t want to use it for a certain period of time. In such and similar cases, you have to apply for a valid deregistration.

The following documents are required:

  • Fahrzeugschein / part I of registration certificate
     

  • for old documents: Fahrzeugschein and Fahrzeugbrief
     

  • in both cases we also need both license plates
